I am going to make a conscience choice to eat less fatty things when this does happen. More fruits and veggies. Right now I am craving a veggie stew in my crockpot---probably without meat. Carrots, potatoes, corn, green beans, tomatoes. I could live on that stuff!!
I am also not doing any big walks yet......just really don't have energy to do so, and all the people on my bandster Yahoo groups say this is a time for "healing". I agree with them. :) I do park a bit away from stores and walk that little extra into the store from the parking lot. I am also in a size smaller jeans. These are jeans I put away some months ago because they were cutting into my waist. It feels GOOD!!!
I did get a call from my sister in Utah. She was just calling to see how I was. I like the fact that we have gotten closer since this surgery and I appreciate the fact that she sacrificed time from her really busy Mormon Tabernacle Choir schedule and her two busy kids who keep her hopping and her husband who took the reins while she was gone so graciously. I was glad to show her around work, and show her a little about Atlanta. it would be fun if she, Jeff and the kids could live down here!!!

My favorite salad:
Grilled chicken strips
romaine lettuce
1/4 cup cheese
black beans, drained
rotel, drained
mexicorn or shoepeg corn, drained
Newman's own Southwest Style dressing
It's loaded with fiber and pretty low in calories provided you go easy with the dressing!
Other favorites:
fish--grilled or broiled
grilled asparagus
Check out my Weight Watcher's modified recipe for Chicken taco soup too.
Keep it up!
Hope this works. Blogging is a Bitch.
Let me know what youwant in WW recipes. I am done with it on the 21st. Can't afford it anymore. I have over 12 WW cookbooks. I will send you what I can find.

The veggie soup does sound good. If you use a beef or chicken broth, it will give you some protein in there at least. You also might like some egg flower soup--I buy the chinese mix at the store and then mix the egg in following the directions. I think it's one of the yummier soups out there.
